Techapalooza – Troy, New York – September 20th

TechapaloozaIf you’re in the Capital Region and into tech, you won’t want to miss the 2012 edition of Techapalooza, the area’s annual gathering of the Tech Valley’s professional and technologist community for educational and networking opportunities.

This year’s edition will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 235 Hoosick Street, in Troy, from 5 – 9 p.m. and I’ll be there along with Chris Miller and Brian Peek of the Tech Valley .NET User Group, showing off a few fun devices including Windows Phone and Windows 8 (sorry, no Surfaces yet!). It’s great chance to connect with other members of the group and meet some new folks in the area, so head on down after work and say hi.

Be sure to register though; there’s a small $10 fee to attend.

Looks like they’ve got a great band lined up as well – Nitetrain – and you’ll be able to bring your own instrument and jam along with them!
