Windows 8 in Syracuse – Sept 12

Windows reimaginedWith Windows 8 officially released and the general availability date only about six weeks away, interest and excitement is definitely building. The time is right for understanding the development and business model so you can get your apps into the Windows Store for the general availability date of October 26th!

And there’s no better person to get you started on that trek than Andy Beaulieu, Microsoft MVP, Windows Store application developer, and leader of the Central New York .NET Developers group.

Andy will be presenting “Windows 8 Launch!” this Wednesday, September 12th at 6:00pm at New Horizons at 6711 Towpath Road in East Syracuse.

That's right, Windows 8 has released! We'll talk about Windows Store app development - the artist formerly known as Metro. We'll learn about the different development options including XAML/C# and HTML/JavaScript. And we'll use a real-world app, one of the first on the Windows Store, to demonstrate development, deployment, metrics and reporting.

Please RSVP by answering the meeting survey.
